TECHNOLOGY CONSULTING & ASSESSMENTS
Senior, technology-pragmatic advice for the decisions that shape your systems and assessments that back those decisions with evidence. From strategy and architecture to a focused review of one application, we help you decide well and stay on course.

Before
Commitment.
Every engagement is scoped and agreed with you before it starts: the question, the format, and the investment.
What is Technology Consulting & Assessments?
Senior Advice, Backed by Evidence.
Technology decisions are expensive to reverse. Which systems to modernize, whether to build or buy, which platform to standardize on, how to bring AI in safely, why delivery keeps slowing down. These deserve experienced judgment and facts, not opinions.
We help in two ways. Technology consulting puts senior architects and engineers alongside your leadership and teams, for a strategy, a roadmap, an architecture, or ongoing advice as decisions come up. Assessments are focused, scoped reviews that answer one question with evidence: findings, options, and a recommendation, in writing.
We are technology-pragmatic. Our teams work with low-code platforms such as OutSystems, established stacks such as .NET and Java, and cloud services, so the advice follows the problem, not a platform we need to sell. Sometimes the answer is to change nothing yet.
Decisions We Help You Make
Six Questions Worth Answering Before You Spend.
Most engagements start with one of these. Each is a decision with a real investment behind it, and a wrong answer that is expensive to undo.
Is this system worth modernizing, and how?
Which parts to keep, move, rebuild, or replace, in what order, and what each option would take.
Should we build it, buy it, or extend what we have?
A comparison against your real requirements, the total investment, and who will own and change it.
Are we on the right platform, or too dependent on one?
Fit, license and skills exposure, and realistic alternatives, so the platform stays a choice, not a constraint.
Will it hold when the volume doubles?
Where the bottlenecks are today, what breaks first under growth, and what it takes to fix it.
Why does every release take longer?
Code quality, technical debt, test strategy, and governance, and which of them is actually slowing the team down.
Where does AI make sense in our systems?
Which use cases are worth it, what the data and the systems need first, and how to keep it governed.
A different question? Most start that way. If it is about your systems and what to do with them, we can shape the advice or the assessment around it.

Two Ways to Work With Us
Use either on its own or both together: an assessment gives the evidence, and consulting carries the decision through to the plan and the people who deliver it.
Senior people alongside your leadership and teams.
For a strategy, an architecture, a roadmap, or advice as decisions come up. Project-based or ongoing.
- Strategy and roadmapWhere your systems should go, in what order, and the investment it takes.
- Architecture designTarget architectures and the decisions behind them, documented.
- Technical advice on demandA senior second opinion on vendors, designs, and difficult problems.
- Cloud strategy and migration planningWhat to move, how, and when it pays off.
- AI strategy and governanceWhere AI fits, what has to be in place first, and the rules around it.
- UX and design advisoryInterfaces your people can actually work with.
A focused review that answers one question.
Fixed scope, agreed up front, and a written report at the end.
- ArchitectureHow the systems fit together and whether they support where the business is going.
- Code and technical debtThe debt that slows every change, ranked by impact.
- Performance and scalabilityMeasured behavior under load, and what breaks first under growth.
- Quality and test strategyWhere defects come from, and what automation would pay back.
- Governance and delivery maturityHow work flows from request to production, and what to change first.
- Cloud and platform readinessWhat a move or a platform change would take, and whether now is the time.
How We Work
A Clear Question In. A Decision You Can Stand Behind.
The same five steps, whether it is a focused assessment or a longer advisory engagement. Your team is involved throughout, and nothing in the recommendation comes as a surprise.
- 1
Frame the question
The decision behind the request, who needs the answer, and what is in and out of scope.
Scope agreed - 2
Gather the evidence
Code, environments, data, and metrics, and conversations with the people who build and use the systems.
Evidence collected - 3
Shape the options
Realistic alternatives side by side, each with its risks, its investment, and what it depends on.
Options compared - 4
Recommend
A written recommendation, walked through with your stakeholders, including the hard questions.
Decision ready - 5
Stay alongside
Where you want it: architecture decisions, design reviews, partner selection, and steering as the plan is delivered.
On course
Advice You Can Act On. Not a Slide of Opinions.
What You Get
Customer portal: modernize, replace, or keep?
- Evidence for every findingEach finding points to what we saw: the code, the data, the measurement, or the interview.
- Options, not one answerThe realistic alternatives side by side, so you can see why one is recommended.
- Risks and investment, in writingWhat each option would take and what could go wrong, before anything is committed.
- Senior people who stay with itThe people who give the advice are the people you work with, and they stay as long as it is useful.
- Yours to keepAct on it with your own team, another partner, or with us. The advice does not depend on what you choose.
Whether it is a report, a roadmap, or an architecture decision, it is written for the people who decide and the people who build, so both can use it the next morning.
Why It Is Independent
Technology-Pragmatic, Including When the Answer Is "Not Yet".
Advice is only useful if you can trust it. These are the differences you can check.
Where the Recommendation Can Lead.
After the Advice
The recommendation decides the next step, not the other way around. If you want help with it, these are the services that pick it up.

What's Next
Bring the Question. Leave With an Answer You Can Defend.
A first conversation about the decision you are facing and what you need to make it well. Then we propose the right format: senior advice, a focused assessment, or both.
Every engagement is scoped and agreed with you before it starts: the question, the format, and the investment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions, Direct Answers
-
An assessment answers one question with evidence, within a fixed scope, and ends with a written report. Consulting is broader and can run longer: a strategy, an architecture, a roadmap, or senior advice as decisions come up. Many clients start with an assessment and keep us on as advisors while the plan is delivered.
-
After the first conversation we propose the format around your question: which systems, which topics, who we need to talk to, and the investment. Nothing starts until you agree it.
-
Yes. Ongoing advice is a common format: regular sessions with your architects and leadership, design reviews, and support on specific decisions, for as long as it is useful.
-
It depends on the question and the scope. A focused review of one application is much shorter than a portfolio-wide one. The timeline is part of the proposal you agree before we start.
-
No. The advice follows the evidence. It can point to your own team, another partner, a packaged product, or changing nothing yet. If you want our help with the next step, that is a separate decision.
-
Low-code platforms such as OutSystems, established stacks such as .NET and Java, modern web frameworks, cloud services, and the integrations between them. If something is outside what we can advise on properly, we say so at the start.
-
Access to the code, environments, and the data we agree on, a person who can answer questions, and time with the people who build and use the systems. Existing documentation helps, but we do not depend on it.
-
To speed up the reading: code and dependency analysis, and pattern detection across large codebases. Senior engineers check every finding before it reaches a recommendation, and which tools are used, on what, is agreed with you.
-
Yes. Access is agreed with you, limited to what the work needs, and covered by a confidentiality agreement.
