HybridWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core migration program, transitioning a central enterprise platform from OutSystems to a modern React and Node.js stack.
In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring code quality and security within an innovative AI Agentic Delivery model. Instead of writing bulk code from scratch, your primary focus will be critically reviewing AI-generated code (Claude Code), resolving complex technical edge cases, and building critical core integrations!
Main responsibilities
Critically review (code review) all code generated by AI agents before merging, ensuring correctness, security, performance, and maintainability
Solve complex technical challenges and edge cases that the AI fleet cannot handle autonomously
Develop and validate critical enterprise integrations (ERP, CRM, authentication, BI, third-party webhooks)
Support data migration efforts, including script validation, data mapping, and integrity testing
Collaborate closely with the Architect-Orchestrator to enforce quality gates (using tools like SonarQube) and architectural standards
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Strong code review capabilities with a sharp eye for software quality, security vulnerabilities, and system performance
Solid mastery of React, Node.js, and TypeScript
Proven experience in system integration (REST APIs, webhooks, ERP/CRM connectors)
High comfort level working in an AI-agentic paradigm where the core responsibility is reviewing, debugging, and steering AI code rather than writing everything manually
Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
Location & Work Model: Hybrid regime (1-2 days per week at the office) in Lisbon, Portugal
Nice to Have: Background with OutSystems (to understand the legacy system), data migration experience, SonarQube, or React Native.
