We are looking for a QA & Acceptance Lead to define the testing strategy and own quality sign-off for a major platform migration from OutSystems to a modern React and Node.js stack.

In this role, you will take charge of quality assurance for an innovative AI Agentic Delivery model. You'll define wave-by-wave acceptance criteria, validate platform releases, and ensure smooth, reliable go-lives across all 4 migration waves.

Main responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall testing strategy (functional, regression, performance, and security) across all 4 delivery waves

  • Establish and manage quality acceptance gates and exit criteria for each migration wave prior to production go-live

  • Rigorously test critical business workflows and validate AI-generated output alongside the Senior Reviewer-Engineer

  • Track and report defects with full traceability, collaborating closely with the engineering team to ensure rapid resolution

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Proven track record defining test strategies and acceptance criteria for phased/incremental project deliveries

  • High autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail when setting and enforcing quality standards

  • Strong communication skills to articulate risks, blockers, and quality metrics clearly across stakeholders

  • Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)

  • Location & Work Model: Hybrid regime (1-2 days per week at the office) in Lisbon, Portugal

Nice to Have: Experience with automated testing (E2E, integration, API), platform migration projects, regulated/sensitive data environments (Healthcare, POS, Retail), or OutSystems/low-code platforms.
